I was contacted by recruiter. Then, I interviewed with department to get a better feel of my experience and overall fit for the position. It was a fun conversation - can't go wrong with any of the departments there. Great experience!
It was a highly technical interview, there were no traditional interview questions. Posed hypothetical situations about copyright ownership and asked how you would respond or what advice you would give.
There were three rounds -- one by phone and two online with two editors/reporters each. The calls lasted about 30 minutes. I had the opportunity to ask questions at the end.
