I applied online. The process took 5 weeks. I interviewed at NVIDIA (Santa Clara, CA)
Interview
I interviewed with several team members all day at the beautiful new Endeavor campus. Based on the Glassdoor reviews, at first I was worried that they might ask random academic questions just because it's Silicon Valley, but actually the vast majority of questions were relevant to the areas of expertise needed for the job.
It took about a week after the interview to get declined.
I have the impression that NVIDIA is an amazing company, probably one of the best places to work in the country right now if you want to be on the cutting edge of AI.
The only suggestion I have (if the company is reading this) is to have someone on the interview team send a note with personalized feedback if NVIDIA is genuine about the wording in the rejection letter about encouraging me to apply for new openings. I have a rare skill set that is difficult to find on the market, and the team interviews seemed to go well. So I can imagine the company reaching out to me again at some point if there is an opening that is a better match, but I am not sure it that's just a boilerplate rejection letter (probably) or they genuinely want me to apply again.
Overall it was a good experience.
