Submitted an application online.
Three weeks later recruiter reached out.
Set up a time for a phone screen, a few hours before was told HM was pulled into a meeting.
Set up a second time, a few hours before was told HM had covid.
Set up a third time, HM did not show up.
Asked for the HM to reach out to me personally, HM sent a short email but did not apologize.
Decided that this would not be a good match.
Advice for recruiting: recruiting should do a phone screen first instead on waiting HM time. would have appreciated a rundown of the interview process and learn more about the role and company.
First IV with ‘Senior EA’, she turns up late, asks zero actual interview questions and doesn’t stop talking so no opportunity to discuss any relevant skills, experience or approach. She jumps off after 27 mins of her talking, no time for any questions including who the role is even to support.
Visits London and calls for a f2f. Again a lot of her talking and no proper discussion on skills S you mint expect. Ridiculous to be honest, lots of presumptuous beliefs and total lack of self awareness. One of the poorest ever experiences for interview and a real waste of time. Recruiter also not very professional, email etiquette Nd response time incredibly poor.
