The Interview was set up and I was given the address by the Recruiter which was not the correct address. NVR had no sign for their business so the building was very difficult to find and the recruiter would not answer calls when I was trying to figure out her bad address she gave me. Interview was fine and I did well explaining what I did and they mentioned it was a lot more then they do there.. "Hence well qualified". I work the same position with another company and have for 2 years. After interview said they would be in touch. Immediately after was contacted for my references and they took a week to call 3 references. Meanwhile the recruiter and the Hiring manager both said they would be extending an offer. I patiently waited till they were finished with my references and gave them a few days to get it all together. At this point I call to see what is going on and they tell me they have inputted the offer for approval and will be calling me soon... 3-4 days after again I call to see what the hold up is and they now say they are not extending the offer now since it was denied. I asked why it was Denied and she mentioned because of some misspelling on the application remind you this is all after they have everything and put a offer in to be approved they notice this but I am the one who needs to pay attention to detail. I looked over my application to find there was no misspellings. Very frustrating and unprofessional people here Hiring manager and Recruiter both not responding to anything but telling someone they will be making an offer to turn around and deny them.
