Applied with an internal reference, no one reached out so I emailed HR directly. I had a 30 min interview with HR and she told me she would schedule an interview with the nurse manager. That interview took 2 weeks to set up and took 30 mins. Questions from the nurse manager were very unexpected. I shared my experience with my nursing colleagues and they agreed the questions seemed like trick questions. I did not see myself working on the unit even if I was given an offer.

Straightforward. First met with recruiter for basic screening questions. Then met with specialty recruiter in the department/specialty I wanted. Was then put into contact with manager of the unit. Answered why I wanted to work on that floor and some basic job questions.
