I had two different people call on the same day asking the same questions and one of them made it a point to let me know that I did not have the experience they needed for this role (they could have just not moved ahead with my application). They asked for references right away and mentioned that it was for later in the process but they ended up reaching out to my references without letting me know. They called late over the weekend to schedule onsite interview and during that complained about how my references haven't gotten back even though my references let me know that they had scheduled calls. They cancelled calls or did not call my references during the scheduled time which wasted their time, something that I did not like as they were disrespectful of their time. during onsite interview it felt like anything I answered wasn't acceptable and they needed my references to confirm that. while there are some very accomplished individuals in this company, with this interaction I was left doubting anything and everything about myself which I haven't experienced in earlier interview processes even when I had less experience. I did not follow up with them after all this
