I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at Nasdaq (Vilnius)
Interview
After technical assessment, I was quickly invited for an on-site interview. The interview went smoothly - we chatted about the position and company, and afterwards transitioned to technical questions. After a month has passed I got a call for a second interview which was a video call with manager that resides in another country. Haven’t heard anything back afterwards.
They really need to level up their hiring process and/or HR communication skills. I think that taking a month to respond is disrespectful to potential employees, not to mention ghosting.
There were three rounds of interview. First one was screwing call, then manager, and third one was technical round. In hiring manager round, they ask me questions based on my resume, like how did you resolve this issue and how did you improve the performance.
The written test is performed by remote controlling on the zoom session of the interviewer that can be a bit tricky, If one is based in remote location, the lagging response of the mouse and keyword can adversely impact the performance.
Interview process was structured, thorough. Interviewers were nice they asked leetcode medium questions, think real time processing and hashmaps. There was a phone screen, an initial round just to ask basic Java based questions, next interview there was 2 technical questions, and then there was a final meeting with the tech manager.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
