      Interview

Really strange interview, from application to now it has been around 4 months. The questions were bizarre and didn't really revolve around the actual job or check competency on understanding etc. Gave two fairly unrelated tasks that again didn't show competency's nor were they inclusive as I have autism and anxiety which should have factored in but instead they gave me a task and sat over me watching me and gave me less than two minutes by the clock on the wall which made me feel terrible about my own conditions. Then after the interview sent an automated email with no feedback despite saying they would phone which is really poor practice when interviewing especially when the candidate has a disability.

      Question 1

Strange questions related to being a manager or just solely asking questions about previous role that didn't allow you to develop detail and kept interjecting with completely different questions causing you to lose your trail of thought.

      Interview

Disappointing, questions that did not relevantly assess experience and knowledge of NG or the role at hand, then two tasks that were in no way inclusive for someone with autism and anxiety as they stood over myself watching me do the first task and gave less than two minutes. The task was excel related of which the spreadsheet had inaccuracies which for anyone looking at the sheet for the first time, especially as an external candidate with disabilities - should have been given more time to comprehend the spreadsheet before beginning the task or focused on an another day to day system they actually used. Another issue was the generalised questioning which didn't ever allow focus on technical specifics of my current line of work. This again would have been unfair for external candidates as it only allowed you to broadly speak about work experience, which in turn would have been biased towards allowing those who currently worked for NG to go into more detail. I was most disappointed with the fact they informed myself they would ring with the outcome and then I recieved an automated email with no real explanation, it felt fairly unprofessional given the already disadvantaged interview process.
