The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Navan (San Francisco, CA) in Mar 2021
Interview
Contacted by the recruiter who screened me and passed me along to the next step of the interview process with an interview of the Department VP. I was then passed to step three which was an interview loop with 5 individuals. After this interview I was ghosted by the recruiter and the VP. No call or email. It’s extremely unprofessional to treat candidates like. I’ve since heard this is how they treat their customers and employees. Don’t bother wasting your time with interviewing at this company.
I applied online. I interviewed at Navan in May 2026
Interview
The first interview went really great with a personable interviewer. I was told that the actual hiring manager is on leave so I was assigned another individual that haven't formally started with the company yet.
I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at Navan in Oct 2023
Interview
The interview process was disappointing to say the least. I participated in the HR screen but the comments in the interview made me feel appalled about the culture of the company. Lots of lowballing & arrogance. I was even told that people hired from my current company (one of the leading SaaS companies on the market) have not been what they expected/or not a great fit for the role.... HR person suggested multiple potential roles, next thing I know I get a generic rejection email. They are clearly getting a lot of attention due to their pre-IPO state. AVOID & find a company that respects applicants and their experience
