Question 1
How do you deal with spontaneous issues that arise on the job?
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at NeoGenomics (Aliso Viejo, CA)
Interview
Applied online, got a phone call from headquarters in Florida inviting me in for an interview in California. Easy interview, all common sense if you have experience: how do you handle fatty tissue blocks, etc. Dealing with HR for the offer itself was a pain of playing phone tag, them not being responsive to missed calls and took about a week from the first missed call since I was working at the time, but smooth sailing from there. No cutting test required, just a knowledgeable exam. Not that it matters, you can be experienced in everything they do and say you will do, you will do nothing but microtomy for 6-12 months.
