      Flight Attendant Interview

      Feb 20, 2026
      Anonymous Interview Candidate
      Fort Lauderdale, FL
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied online. I interviewed at NetJets (Fort Lauderdale, FL) in Jan 2026

      Interview

The interview consisted primarily of very generic, surface-level questions that felt scripted rather than conversational. There wasn’t much opportunity for a natural back-and-forth or for me to expand meaningfully on my experience. The interviewer joined the call late, which immediately made the interaction feel somewhat rushed and disorganized. Throughout the conversation, they rarely looked at the screen or engaged directly, and instead appeared to be reading straight from a prepared list of questions. Because of this, the interview felt impersonal and transactional rather than thoughtful or engaging.

      Application

I applied online. I interviewed at NetJets (Los Angeles, CA) in May 2025

      Interview

The interview process for the flight attendant position was conducted live over video rather than in person. While interactive, this format still presents significant limitations—particularly for a role that depends on natural human connection, presence, and interpersonal awareness. Live video interviews can disadvantage candidates who are less familiar with digital interview systems or who perform better through in-person interaction. This is especially true for older or more experienced applicants whose strengths lie in real-world communication rather than on-camera performance. For a company that promotes personality, people skills, and authentic connection, evaluating candidates primarily through a video platform feels misaligned with those values. The process lacked the nuance and relational depth necessary to accurately assess customer-facing ability. Additionally, no feedback or explanation was provided following the interview. While this may be common practice, it felt inconsistent with the company’s emphasis on respect and human-centered service.

Can you give an example of a time you disagreed with a coworker? How did you handle it, and what was the outcome?

      Interview

My first interview went very well. It was only about 10 mins on Google Meets. He asked questions about myself and a few scenario questions. He was very stoic but I got him to smirk and chuckle a few times.
