The interview process for the flight attendant position was conducted live over video rather than in person. Live video interviews can disadvantage candidates who are less familiar with digital interview systems or who perform better through in-person interaction. This is especially true for older or more experienced applicants whose strengths lie in real-world communication rather than on-camera performance. For a company that promotes personality, people skills, and authentic connection, evaluating candidates primarily through a video platform feels misaligned with those values. The process lacked the nuance and relational depth necessary to accurately assess customer-facing ability. Additionally, no feedback or explanation was provided following the interview. While this may be common practice, it felt inconsistent with the company’s emphasis on respect and human-centered service.

My first interview went very well. It was only about 10 mins on Google Meets. He asked questions about myself and a few scenario questions. He was very stoic but I got him to smirk and chuckle a few times.
