I applied through college or university. I interviewed at Netsmart (Overland Park, KS) in Mar 2017
Interview
Had a pleasant talk with some recruiters at the College career fair and gave them my resume. Soon enough I received an email inviting me to Overland Park for an interview. We had a meet and greet the first night then the interviews were the next day
After we were done with the interview we were told that we would hear back in 2 weeks. However, I heard back in 3 or 4 weeks. I sent the recruiter an email or two after the said 2 weeks to check on my status. They eventually did get back to me and I received the offer. So be patient and you will eventually hear back from them.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Went through my resume and asked me about my experience and basically asked me about the what I did on a project or previous job, what was the outcome...etc.
Besides that they didnt ask me much, the largest part of my interview was me asking them questions about the company, so be prepared with questions!!!!
Overall the experience was relaxed and my interview process went well!
You may be asked technical questions, I know this because I communicated with the other candidates about their interview process and I think that depends on your resume, if you actually have technical experience or not, and your interviewer.
Asked basic HR questions such as why you wanted to work here, talked about projects, need to know core values of the company, so be sure to research on that part.
I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Netsmart (Bengaluru) in Mar 2026
Interview
Interview process was 2 rounds, first one F2F with a solutions architect and next is the virtual round with the US team. The solutions architect asked questions and approaches that I took mentioned in my resume, questions about SOLID principles, asyn code, multi-threading, concurrency, asked to show how I would refactor a class, questions about design patterns and how I would implement them, and a simple string, array or hashmap based question to solve on the whiteboard.

Asks the normal questions about yourself in first interview, projects you have worked on and what your role with them were, previous job experience, and make sure to study up on the companies values.
