Question 1
Why do you want to work at New America/this program?
The interview was friendly, the person was nice who I interviewed with and overall it was a good experience. The vibe was relatively informal, but smart where the interviewer expected me to understand the type of organization they were and how they differed from other organizations.
They reached out to me for a short phone screening with the manager. I was notified soon after that I would advance to the second phone interview with additional team members. It was around 15 minutes total. I received a response about a week later.
Interviewed for a summer internship. Fairly straightforward, asked the standard interview questions. Had a first round interview with the hiring manager and second round with several members of the department. Both were over the phone. Received a timely response.
