Interview
I got an email from a recruiter which is always very motivating. I was very excited about everything I read about the company and was really happy to have an informal chat with the recruiter. The recruiter was really nice and gave me plenty if information about the role and the team. After the first chat the recruiter confirmed was happy with the conversation and wanted to send me an email with more details about the role and the company itself. We agreed that I would review the content in the email and would reply in a 2 days timeframe. After I did confirm I was happy with all the info I never heard back. I sent couple of gentle emails asking for an update and nothing... It really was a pity as my initial chat was very positive and left me wanting to know more.
For a candidate that has been approached by the company is a big let down as feels that recruitment is using passive candidates to make their numbers.

The interview process was clearly outlined from the initial screening call. HR and hiring manager were approachable and professional. Updates on the every stage of the process were timely and informative.

2 telephone Interviews followed by a panel interview which you had to pitch on your undertanding of New Relic. Interview questions felt scripted and lacked any real depth or thought. Nice enough people

Question 1
how would you approach your first 30/60/90 days which is a fairly standard question
Applied online and contacted promptly by the recruiter for a telephone screening interview. Was advised on this call I would receive feedback the following week. Followed up on this and then told it would be in a few days. Never heard from the recruiter again. From a candidates point of view this was not a pleasant experience.
