I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital (New York, NY) in Mar 2025
Interview
Applied and got and email for a phone interview with recruiter, interview was 30 minutes she asked a slue of questions. After that she sceduled me for an interview with the manager/PCD and herself again this time via zoom. Interview went well manager was very nice, they both asked questions. 2 days later I got a call from the recruiter asking additional questions then she told me she would scedule me for an inperson interview with the PCD again and a nurse from the unit. Day of the meeting I went in-person the PCD called out. I had to interview with the charge nurse and another manager. I felt the interview went well, but at this point I was being asked the same questions over again and felt a bit put off. 3 rounds of rigorous interview.
The charge nurse told me she would eat the PCD and recruiter know how it went and I would be hearing back by the end of the week or following week. After almost 2 weeks nothing. Initially the recruiter told me she would give my application to reference check I noticed it never changed from in-process. Then I saw the job listed back on the NYP website when it was taken down before. So today I sent a follow up email amd the recruiter called and told me unfortunately they have moved on ro another applicant. Then 5 minutes later she sent me an email basically saying the same thing. I checked my NYP account and she finally moved the application to no longer in consideration.
