I applied to the job and heard nothing. Then about a week later, a recruiter reached out to me and said that I might be a good fit. They couldn't find my application, so I had to send them my stuff all over again. Very limited times for interviews, but the initial one was good. Very conversational, seemed positive. Told I would be contacted that Monday (it was FRiday) about another interview. Was not. Waited until Friday to hear anything back and clearly there was bad communication. FINALLY, got the next interview with the editors, who were super nice. Thought I had it. Did a writing test that day, which I thought was easy, but clearly not. Again, did not hear anything for a week even though they wanted to "hire right away" and then got a generic "sorry. we picked another candidate" email. Even though the job description was still up for two weeks after. Horrible communication, but nice people.
