      Legal Counsel Interview

      Mar 29, 2023
      Anonymous Interview Candidate
      London, England
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 4 months. I interviewed at Newsweek (London, England)

      Interview

After an initial interview with HR I had to do a case study, followed by at least 3-4 interviews with potential colleagues, the whole senior management team (cfo etc) and the ceo. Definitely excessive. The process was lengthy and slow, and ended without feedback after waiting for them to respond for almost 2 months

      Interview questions [1]

      Question 1

They asked a lot about how I would deal with a difficult person and a difficult situation. It was clear something negative was going on and they made it very awkward always talking about the “elephant in the room” but never addressing the matter directly
