Applied and had internal recruiter respond to me within a few days for an initial call, positive call explaining my circumstances and why I was looking for a new role. Was then told to do a task and send back for review within 90 minutes, and was told I’d get a response within 3 days. Heard nothing for a week so followed up, heard nothing for another week (not even receipt of task).
After chasing a couple of times was finally moved onto first stage proper interview, again detailing my experiences and other relevant questions - all went smoothly. Was told I’d hear back about a final stage interview within the week (interview was a Tuesday).
3 weeks later I have been ghosted, I have sent 2 follow ups and heard nothing. Who does that? You literally have someone employed to handle recruitment and when someone puts in time prepping for an interview and delivering a task, the least you can do is respond. Whether it’s a rejection or not.
Horrible recruitment experience which I hope the people at Newsweek learn from. That’s not how you treat people.
