Jumped through the hoops of three more interviews. Was assured I’d hear back before the holidays if I got the job. Then the story shifted: they’d give a response after the holidays.
Well, it’s now after the holidays. Not only have I been ghosted by the recruiter despite following up, but the job has been quietly reposted on LinkedIn.
If you value yourself as a creative — or as a human being — do yourself a favor and stay far away from Newsweek. They think AI will magically solve their issues, but their real problem is their treatment of people. (And for a company that’s supposed to investigate the truth, their history speaks volumes: jailed execs and a revolving door of staff.)
Run. Don’t walk.
