The interviews were all very pleasant and good conversations. I had 11 interviews over a 7 week period. At the end, I was told there was a meeting to make the final decision later that day and I would be contacted to let me know the outcome either way. I never heard back and received the generic “we’ve decided to move forward with other candidates” 2 weeks later. Beware of any company that treats people like this. Especially a company that laid off 30% of their workforce at the first sign of COVID in April 2020 and then received a $9.5 million PPP loan 2 weeks later.
