I applied through college or university. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Nielsen (Toronto, ON) in Nov 2013
Interview
Was a single 3-hour interview, very simple process. The first hour was talking with a representative from HR. The second hours involved a quiz focused around SQL, C#.net, and C++. The last hour was spent talking to an architect and the team lead.
The hardest part was the quiz. The conversation with the architect and team lead was more focused around the role I would be filling and the current architecture the company uses for processing data.
