Enter my second interviewer( first was actually great) —a Senior Program Manager who didn’t even bother turning on their camera. Look, I get it, not everyone loves video calls, but at least pretend to be interested? Instead, it was a bland, robotic Q&A session filled with copy-paste Agile textbook questions that could have been lifted straight from a beginner’s certification course.
The whole second interview felt like they were just doing their job because they had to. No real discussion, no engaging follow-ups—just a glorified checkbox exercise. If you’re going to conduct an interview, at least act like you care about the person on the other end?
Final Thoughts: Not Worth the Effort
🔻 HR: A logistical nightmare.
🔻 Second interviewer: Bored, uninspiring, and clearly not invested.
🔻 Overall process: Felt more like a screening for a Scrum Master than a Product Ops role.
