The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Nielsen in Oct 2010
Interview
I was contacted by a Nielsen recruiter a few days after applying online. Initial interview was a phone screen that lasted about 15 minutes. She asked typical questions about past work/analytical experience. I was notified that I'd have to take the analytical assessment before moving on in the interviewing process. Assessment was set for the following week. It consisted of 10 math (GRE/GMAT) type questions and 2 case studies. The cases studies were more realistic work-related scenarios, but the math questions were like those on a standardize test. Working as an analyst within the CPG industry I thought the test would be quite easy, but that was not the case. I was notified 2 days after assessment that they were moving on with other candidates so I assumed I did not score well on the skills test. Overall the process was professional and moved along quickly.
