I applied through a recruiter. The process took 5 weeks. I interviewed at Nimble Robotics (San Francisco, CA) in Jun 2023
Interview
I was approached by the Head of Talent at Nimble for the role of Software Engineer. There were a total of 4 rounds. The first was a Python coding challenge which involved the use of OpenCV and WebRTC technologies. While the requirements are extensive and there is a time limit of 72 hours, it was a great challenging assignment and I was able to complete all the requirements. The hiring team reviews the assignments in detail and gave a detailed feedback about running the application and describing their experience. The next round was another coding challenge, with Go, React and TypeScript, which also had a time limit of 72 hours and was quite challenging as well. Post this, there was a live coding interview (Leetcode style), on an online shared coding platform. The last round was a combination of behavioral and technical, discussing system design aspects and values that you have and you'd expect from your teammates. The team at Nimble has been fantastic throughout the interview process, with great transparency about the number of rounds and expectations in each round right from the first discussion. The interviews are much more like discussions, than just QnA which makes it quite engaging and the challenging tasks are surely a great way to test yourself on learning new technologies and implementing them in the short time span of 72 hours.

I interviewed at Nimble Robotics (San Francisco, CA)
Interview
Way too many phone calls. At least 5 before I got to anyone with technical background. When I actually got some technical screen there was still no coding challenge or anything and I didn't get a callback. Wasn't sure what I messed up on. The next interview would have been with the CEO.
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Nimble Robotics in Jan 2025
Interview
First it was a 72-hour hackathon, followed by a HR call. Then it was a techinical interview with a senior. There should be another techinical and another round with the CEO.
