Applied to Corporate Technology. Very fast, feedback from online test/phone interview/onsite interview all within 1 or 2 days.
Stage 1 was standard online testing, numerical, reasoning, etc.
Stage 2 was a phone call with 2 developers, briefly went over CV but mainly technical questions - started easy but got fairly difficult towards the end, openly admitted I didn't know some of the answers to the questions they asked.
Stage 3 was an onsite visit, consisting of a presentation on the business to start, followed by 2 group tasks:
- (30m) Come up with and present a better solution to getting employees to report broken computers as the current solution of getting them to email/call the helpdesk is not effective.
- (60m) Five tasks to complete, which included working with Excel tables, programming, physically phoning a (mock) service provider, and some maths.
After that was lunch with the hiring managers where we went around finding out about the sort of people they were looking for and what their teams did. Then, after another talk, some candidates were kept behind for interviews with interested hiring managers. Some talk about my CV and why me over other candidates, but largely about making sure I was matched with the right team.
