An intense process. When you’re invited to interview, it was short notice and then you have to do back to back. You have to make sure you study technical questions beforehand.
Selection process consisted of four rounds: an Aptitude Assessment, First Technical Interview, Second Technical Interview, and a Human Resources Interview, evaluating problem-solving, technical expertise, communication skills, and overall organizational fit.
For its mentorship program, Nomura came to our campus, when i was in my second year. They started off with some basic introduction about finance terms, and then immediately afterwards took a 30 minute written test, which was purely based on aptitude and reasoning. i got shortlisted for the interview alongwith 15 others. In the interview, they asked only about finance, and were trying to gauge my interest in it. They also did ask a little about python and C++, whihcever i was comfortable with. But since i had no real interest in finance, which i was very clear about, they didnt select me for the upcming interview rounds. They finally took 5 girls.

Interview went really well, was told I would hear back by x date. Ended up not hearing back until almost 2 months (understandable due to Winter Holiday). But received the most generic automated rejection email for a final stage interview
