First round is a video interview on HireVue that is all behavioral/common questions (career goals, why Nordstrom etc.) Second round is in store "group" interviews. In reality, they were one-on-one interviews but you talked to multiple people and cycled between interviewers. All interviewers were department managers. No one from HR was present that day. In-store interview was very straight forward if you prepared. Focused mostly on situational questions with a good amount of behavioral questions thrown in there. Very interested in how you fit into company culture and your decision making skills. Mainly situational questions and sales simulations. Focused on good customer service and using good judgement as well as commission based compensation. Interviewed with 2 people. First person was behavioral and situational with a short sales simulation. Second person was all sales simulation in a specific department.
