The interview process was extensive for me since I had to be interviewed by Nordstrom and MAC Cosmetics. I had about 5 separate interviews, 2 with Nordstrom and 3 with MAC. It took about 6 weeks to obtain the job. MAC are very thorough and picky with who they allow into their 'special club'. I had a phone interview, then a 1:1 interview, then I had to bring a model to my local MAC store and demonstrate a look on her with MAC products I selected. I also had to explain why I chose the colors I did and why I thought it would be a great look for her. I then had a final interview with the Cosmetics Department Manager and the MAC Counter Manager. They made me choose between accepting their offer and declining another offer I got for an esthetician position at ULTA because they said it would be a conflict of interest.
