Interviewer (department head) never showed up, even though she was in the store and paged several times. Someone else stepped in for the interview, but clearly not knowledgeable enough of the position and department I was applying for. Read interview questions from script. Offered job - but not in area that interested me. Did not expect this from Nordstrom- a company that is known for customer service

Easy interview overall. Interviewer with the personal stylist manager, who basically just wanted to hear that you love customers and networking and want to grow with Nordstrom. Same day they pass you off to another department manager who asks the same questions. They want someone in it for the long run. The program is about 3 months long and at the end they decide if they'll keep you
