Company is very large, stable, and organized. I attended a career fair at my school, met a representative from the company which gave me a two documents regarding two open positions directly involved with my major. He told me to go online and apply, which I did and was contacted within two weeks. I received an email about a potential offer with NS with consideration to taking an online assessment. It was sort of like an IQ test that was surprisingly challenging and very long. After submission, they got back to me in two weeks via phone call and invited me to a "Career Day". It was very misleading, because I thought there would be a lot of people but there were really only 7-8. To start the engagement, the HR completed a short presentation in a small conference room. We were then given time to append our applications and review our resume/contact information. After that, we were led in pairs to complete another assessment but was shorter than the previous one. Once completed, we were given 1v1 interviews with the HR and then tech interviews with a pair or group of IT department heads. The HR was very nice, but a bit robotic in her presentation/interview. IT department heads are very friendly and practical. Best piece of advice to anyone given this opportunity would be: "be yourself". They (IT dept heads) don't need the fluff you put in your application/resume just a realistic understanding of who you are, what you can do, what you want to do, and if you would be a good fit. Once I was done with the tech interview, I was done for the day and was notified that I got it the same day via phone call. I accepted, accepted of course, and all I have to do is the drug test (hair & urine), criminal background check through their company special agent (very thorough check over everything including traffic tickets, etc.), and school adjustments.
