I applied to this Vascular Technologist position in November of 2014 on the NGHS website, which was very simple to use. I received a call from an HR employee (who I will not name) in mid-December requesting to schedule a phone interview in January. She was 45 minutes late for the 'phone interview', which was basically a 3-minute phone call to schedule an actual interview with the Vascular Lab. She said she would email me with the details about the face to face interview. I did receive an email, from a different HR rep, with the director, location and directions to the interview. I am relocating soon to this area, so they knew I had to drive 3.5 hours for this interview. When I arrived at the department, I was told the person I was supposed to interview with was not there that day, and even more that he was from the Echo department, not Vascular which was what I had been told and applied for. So they let me talk to the Vascular supervisor who was very nice but explained that neither department are hiring or have any positions open. I was furious! I called the HR employee but she did not answer her phone. I have left many messages and emails about this issue and none of them have been answered. This whole experience has been extremely unprofessional, I wouldn't accept a job from them.
