I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Northeastern University (Boston, MA) in Sep 2017
Interview
I worked with a recruiter. I had a 30 minute phone screen with the hiring manager and then came in for a few hours of face to face interviews. The actual process was quick but the time from application to hire was pretty slow for a contractor position. It is also standard that contractors then have to apply for their job to be converted to full time. I had to go through a lengthy interview process when I was converted to full time and then wait a few months to find out if I was hired. It was a bit nerve-wracking.
