I applied online. I interviewed at Northern Trust (Chicago, IL)
Interview
Quick 15 minute call with recruiter then an on-site interview with 3 members of the team. The recruiter asked me at the end of the phone interview about my availability on a specific day, I told them I was available all day except for a specific half hour period. When I got the interview confirmation e-mail, they had gone ahead and scheduled my interview precisely at the time I told them I wouldn't be available. They told me after the on-site I would hear back in a couple weeks, it ended up being a month.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Basic behavioral questions, nothing challenging. The first two interviewers were just plain awkward, the other single interviewer was very rude. This person said I bet if you don't like this job you'll quit pretty quickly anyway, it came out of nowhere. The rejection e-mail was an automated response, not even a note from the inept recruiter. Very impersonal process.
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Northern Trust (Dublin, Dublin) in Mar 2016
Interview
One week after applying for the role I received a phone call arranging the interview for the following week. Interview was fairly easy. No questions you wouldn't expect and the two team leads doing the interview were friendly and very laid back. Interview took about 45 mins.
