Interview
I applied through on-campus recruiting. The first interview was straightforward and behavioral. The second, on-site interview was about a month later. They asked more behavioral questions, as well as talk about the various teams. There was a case study, but it as rather basic and more to gauge your thought processes than any particular content knowledge.

I applied through college or university. I interviewed at Northern Trust (Chicago, IL) in Oct 2023
Interview
I interviewed for the technology track of the Rotational Development Program. There were two parts of the interview process: a 30 minute behavioral interview with a recruiter and two 30 minute technical interviews back-to-back with an employee from different parts of your chosen career track. Everyone I've interviewed with was very kind and easy to talk to. The interviews are conversational in nature. The behavioral interview focused mostly on explaining your resume, while the technical interviews focused more on explaining your previous projects and how well you work with others. No in-depth technical questions, such as term definitions, are asked. There are no trick questions either. Answer questions using the STAR method and you will do well. I received an offer a week after completing my technical interviews. Overall, I had a great experience interviewing with Northern Trust.
