I applied through a recruiter. The process took 6 months. I interviewed at Northrop Grumman (Washington, DC) in Oct 2016
Interview
I met with a hiring manager and he asked a bunch of questions about how I would solve a problem, and the steps I would take. After the interview, I was offered a job with them, I accepted, and then they told me they needed to wait until they won a particular government bid to start me. During this time, everyone involved in my hiring process left the company and I was still waiting for them to bring me one. I had no way of contacting them, and they lost my files through their disorganized process. Eventually I was able to contact someone else and they didn't really know how to help me from there. I waited for months without pay, and eventually it didn't pan out. My experience was of their disorganized, unprofessional nature.
