I received a coding challenge. The coding challenge covered a variety of topics. It consisted of a backend, front end and multiple choice sections. You selected which portion you wanted to work on and then continued to the rest
I applied online. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at Northspyre (New York, NY) in Mar 2024
Interview
Overall a pretty disorganised experience with lack of any communication. The process took three months. Coding challenge was easy and straight-forward, but the team didn’t know a) what they assigned b) what they were looking for. A red flag for me was lack of interest in testing - to me, it seemed like the speed was valued way above quality and time, so I am curious to see how the developers grow in their careers.
The entire process was filled with no information or responses. I went through the entire process and was ghosted. At one point I didn't receive the information for an interview and later found out my contact didn't work there anymore.
