Interview
I applied online. A month later I received an email from someone in HR who gave me more information about the position and the hospital and asked me to do a video interview. The video interview consisted of an intro, and 5 questions. The questions weren't difficult but they were behavioral/situation based and required thought before answering them. Once I clicked on the video I was given 3 hours to record myself answering the questions and then I had to submit it before the time was up. I then was asked to come in for a face to face interview two days after submitting the video. Face to face interview consisted of meeting separately with 4 different people who work in the finance dept. and the people that I interviewed were throwing a lot of information about medical terms and info about their complicated computer system. Once I moved on to speak with a different person it was almost like they were quizzing me to see what I retained from speaking with the person before me. Strange.
Started with a recruiter call, followed by a call with the hiring manager. Second round was with the team and included an excel test. The excel test was send through email and had to be returned within 45 min
I applied through college or university. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Northwell Health (New York, NY) in Apr 2026
Interview
Calm, standard interview. Did an excel test so you need to be familiar with excel functions. Interviewer did take a while to set up interview call so the hiring process is ok.
