The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at Northwell Health (Huntington, NY) in Nov 2017
Interview
Had a call from the recruiter. She was very polite n straight foward, got scheduled for interview the following two days which was Friday. Went through 2 stages of interview.
Very poor communication and follow up. Phone interviews were set but the HR dept did not show up for the interviews. I was told they are in transition but that doesn't completely explain how disorganized the hiring process is.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Two different interviewers. First interviewer screened for experience. She was enthusiastic and forwarded me to the second step. Second interviewer set a Sunday afternoon weekend phone interview with a log on code for a 15 slot. I sat on the site at the allotted time waiting. The Northwell HR interviewer never showed up nor responded to emails. I received an email a week later with time slots for 15 minute interviews this time for weekdays in the evening from 7pm-11pm. Very odd interview hours. I was offered a position with a start date but there was no follow up. The job never materialized.
I applied online. I interviewed at Northwell Health (New York, NY) in Jan 2021
Interview
Applied through Glassdoor and received an initial response within a few days. First completed an automated chat asking basic questions about my expectations for the job. Received a call to schedule a video interview within an hour of finishing the automated chat. Video interview happened a couple days later, asking basics about my past working experiences and explaining the job in greater detail. I was offered the job during the video interview and was explained the next steps (Including: a physical, drug test, background check and proof of vaccinations). A very fast response rate and the onboarding process has been swift as well. Overall I'd say just be honest with your interviewer, look presentable and do a little research on the job expectations before the interview.
