Everyone polite and asked situational questions. Interviews included peers and staff of current unit. Tour of unit given. Questions about magnet, quality improvement, committees and task forces. Questions asked about long term goals and professional development.

Very short interview. Mostly human resources and behave questions. In addition to a hiring manager, you may meet with managers, employees, and other staff. How hiring is handled depends on the employer and the systems they have in place for screening and evaluating potential new hires.

I was approached by an internal recruiter for Northwell. I met all qualifications and was very interested. I never heard back from the recruiter and ended up applying on the website. I was rejected without an interview. Now a month later I get an email that I've been added to their "careers" newsletter about their benefits and all of the lovely people who work there. I can't imagine why they think I would want that.
