I applied through a recruiter. The process took 4 months. I interviewed at Northwell Health in Sep 2024
Interview
The interview itself was great. It was with three of the management level nurses and we got along well. I don't recall any specific questions. They wanted to know about my experience (I am not a new grad.) They were friendly.
What I did not at all like was the recruitment and onboarding process. It was slow and uninformative. I applied in August but did not actually start until 4 months later. There was very sparse communication from the recruiter and from the onboarding staff. Emails would go unanswered, the phone would always go straight to voicemail and it would take a week or more to get a call back. I nearly accepted another job offer during this time because I had no idea what was going on with Northwell. So I think that side of things could really be improved company-wide.
