I applied through college or university. I interviewed at Northwestern Mutual (Cleveland, OH) in Mar 2017
Interview
A couple phone interviews and I was immediately turned off from the possibility of interning with them. The position was to sell life insurance as an intern with the minimum goal of getting 4 "lives" throughout the summer internship.

It was good, simple, and they provided a lot of information on what the position would look like. They explained the reasoning for commission-based pay, and how they help support new interns with that.
I had an interview with northwestern mutual but im seeing a lot of people say its just a pyramid scheme to cold call people in my network. is this true?
