I applied through college or university. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Northwestern Mutual (Pittsburgh, PA) in Feb 2017
Interview
Three step, 1st was a face to face, a second was developing a "warm market" that requested I gather 80+ personal contacts to try and generate insurance leads. Did not go out for the third interview as a result.

Question 1
How many people could you contact regarding life insurance
It was good, simple, and they provided a lot of information on what the position would look like. They explained the reasoning for commission-based pay, and how they help support new interns with that.
I had an interview with northwestern mutual but im seeing a lot of people say its just a pyramid scheme to cold call people in my network. is this true?
