Interview
Joke of a company. First off this is a sales position. You are signing up to be a life insurance salesman. If a company ever asks you to list 100 of your family members, stay away. They want interns just for money and are trying to exploit young students who need experience in the industry. Honestly the internship program is a Multi-level marketing scheme that gives 50% of the commission you make to a senior advisor. You are going to sell to your close relatives and convince them to buy insurance plans that they don’t need. They only want you for your network and if you happen to work hard you may move up to a full-time insurance salesman with poor compensations. If you want a career path in legitimate financial planning this is not the position for you.

Interview
It was a series of 3 interviews. I think they made the role seem more lucrative than it was. There was some information left out when reviewing the job duties and compensation but I came prepared with lots of questions. Had I not there was some things I would consider a little sneaky.

Honestly, I will try to be nice while also warning anyone reading this of this company. There are so many red flags to list. I have a rule of thumb, if in an "interview" it starts to sound more like a pitch then its not an interview its a commission only, hell scape, MLM style company.
