I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at Northwestern Mutual
Interview
The interview process was pretty great. I came in with little to no background in the financial industry and the interviewer asked me straightforward questions, typical of a standard interview, none of the questions were too hard. I just made sure to think outside of the box when answering the questions in order to make myself stand out and not give typical answers. Had plenty of time to answer and didn't feel rushed. Interview was about 45 min.

Question 1
What are some of your strengths and how will these help you in your position here?
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Northwestern Mutual (Lombard, IL) in Apr 2022
Interview
Attended four interviews via phone and Zoom, each ran for 30+ minutes. I initially spoke with a recruiter on the phone. Afterwards, I moved on to speaking with a location manager/human resources manager. About a week later I had another separate interview with the associates whom I would essentially be working with in the role. Final interview was two weeks later with the financial advisors I would be supporting. I was told I would be contacted with next steps once they knew what they were. Instead I was ghosted entirely. I tried reaching out to the initial recruiter and was told someone would reach out to me with information, but I heard nothing. This was a waste of time.
