I applied through college or university. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Northwestern Mutual (Washington, DC) in Apr 2014
Interview
Received an email setting up the initial interview. Second step was a very straight forward interview asking about past experience/ resume. Finally, an interview with an offer pending you bring in 100 potential contacts to prove that you can network. Later to secure the offer you must pass two licensing tests to make a certified insurance producer. These tests are not too difficult if one prepares utilizing the practice problems from given books of the life and health exams.
Recruiter was very nice and professional making the experience a very positive one.
