I applied in-person. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Northwestern Mutual (Chicago, IL) in Dec 2011
Interview
the interview process is pretty intense. it usually involves several interviews with multiple people over a couple weeks. there are tests given but the interview is more depended on the personal skills. generally outgoing personalities tend to do better. asking questions and following up works well. looking into the eyes of the interviewer is key. being well spoken
I interviewed at Northwestern Mutual (New York, NY)
Interview
heard mixed reviews on this. went in for the a few times and hoenstly i fell like i wasted my time. did a bunch of rounds just to not even get a role i was applying for
One initial recruiter call. The recruiter never put me in touch with the hiring team. I recommend that hiring managers take the time to interview qualified candidates. I have little faith that the recruiter accurately gaged my skillset as they didn’t seem to understand certain aspects of the role.
I was in contact with the recruiter and she invited me to an information session. After, she told me I would be able to schedule and interview. I emailed her multiple times and never got a reply. Unprofessional.
