Meet with head engineer or biologist depending on position, just sat in office and talked about past projects and experiences and the goals of the lab and specific things that would be required of position. however, nothing said in interview about projects that would be upcoming actually happened, such is the nature of research. mostly looking for self-motivated, detail-oriented, and team-players.

Interview
I submitted the online application which as followed by a telephonic screening from the PI. The screening was primarily based on the resume, background and project requirements. The position was a great fit to my ME background and I was fairly comfortable in explaining what I had done in the past. A couple of weeks passed after the call when I received an offer for the position I was interviewed for.
