First step was a phone call with a recruiter about the product which is pretty cool. The next step is a take-home assignment where you have to build a small full-stack web app and implement 2 GET APIs using whatever tech stack you prefer. The assignment has to be submitted within "2 hours or so". I submitted my work a bit later than 2 hours and the reason I was late was because I decided to use a database, which wasn't necessary (You can use hardcoded data). But let's be honest, using a database is the more scalable and better approach to any web app. I also added 2 extra features and did my best to make it look nice. Then after 2-3 days, I got a one sentence rejection email from the recruiter. I guess putting in extra effort and showing that you care doesn't matter at Notable. I asked for feedback but I got ghosted, so it was all a waste of time. The assignment isn't difficult, just make sure you're familiar with the tech stack you're using so that you don't waste time setting things up and debugging.
