I applied online. I interviewed at Notable Health in Mar 2022
Interview
Take home coding interview. Make sure if you do the coding interview had a fairly scaffolded out API/UI otherwise you will not be able to complete the task at all.
The next step they dont tell you nothing aside from you have another interview. It is a another live coding interview which they will email you at the time of your interview. So make sure to have your enviroment setup because they wont tell you to do so.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Design/implement an UI/API that connects and allows you to see the schedule of doctor.
Initially, a phone screen, then an online leetcode style technical, then multiple onsite technicals in the San Mateo office.
During the interview process, I asked some questions that seemed to raise some red flags. Also, the culture in the office seems quite office. No one spoke to each other and it felt tense.
I didn't get the offer, but a few weeks later I met some of the team outside of work to find out two of them who interviewed me quit and a few of them were planning on quitting. Definitely dodged a bullet here.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Given an abitrary data structure, that you design, how can you make it easily searchable.
first round: thirty minute recruiter call
second round: one hour take home coding exercise
third round: one hour live coding with one other engineer and one former accountant recently turned engineer via bootcamp
final round: Panel interview
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Basic coding questions and OOP. The team is not very experienced and has trouble understanding/explaining basic programming concepts. Additionally, the coordination was very confusing and poor. Said I needed a backend web framework and to setup an environment on local, neither of which was needed whatsoever. Overall, the people were okay, but process was extremely inaccurate and confusing.
