Had a phone screen with recruiter, then zoom interview with the hiring manager. Recruiter was great, the manager was not. I joined the zoom call with video on, she had her's off and there was a child bumbling and yelling in the background. Little awkward to be on video by yourself and the kid was distracting, but whatever. I talk about my experience and she asks me maybe 1 question, but overall seems like she isn't even paying attention. I then get an email from the recruiter that they aren't moving me forward because I wasn't interested in doing my previous job anymore.... which is mind boggling because that's why I'm interviewing with them! It was clear the distracted manager wasn't paying attention and could've easily clarified that with a thoughtful question, but decided to just disqualify me instead. Don't waste your time with these people.
